Fees and Registration

Fees for Stroud Independent Prep School for the 2012-2013 academic year will be:

UPPER SCHOOL	Years 6-8	£4460.00 (per term)
(Ages 10-12)
MIDDLE SCHOOL	Years 3-5	£4010.00 (per term)
(Ages   7 - 9)
PRE-PREP	Reception-Year 2	£2720.00 (per term)
(Ages   4 - 6)
NURSERY	Nursery fees are charged at £6.25 per hour. Lunch is charged at £4.00 per day. As a participant in the Early Years Flexible funding Scheme, Stroud provides 15 free hours each week to 3 and 4 year old children as long as the hours are taken over at least 3 days. Additional hours are charged at £6.00 per hour.

Children can arrive for 7.45am for our breakfast club (current cost is £1.15 per morning) and after school care is available until 5.45pm (extra charge applies for Pre-Prep children). In the case of after school care we would request at least 48 hours notice.

Fees are reviewed annually and the Governors always seek to keep parents informed of forthcoming increases well in advance.

Reduced fees: Reductions, currently 10% and 50% respectively, are allowed for second and third children.

PAYMENT
Fees are payable in advance, together with extras incurred during the previous term. Invoices are payable on or before the first day of term. Balances outstanding two weeks after the beginning of term are subject to interest at the rate of 1.5% per month. The school offers the facility for school bills to be paid monthly by standing order. There is no surcharge for this service.

One term's notice, to be given no later than the first day of term, is required before the withdrawal of a child. One term's fees is payable in lieu of proper notice.

No refund of fees will be made when a child is absent, for whatever reason.

CONFIRMATION DEPOSIT
An Confirmation Deposit of TWO HUNDRED POUNDS (£200) is payable up to twelve months before entry as confirmation that the place reserved will be taken up. This Deposit will be refunded at the end of the pupil's last term, being set against any extras or other liabilities owing to the school.

The form is to be completed by the Parent or Legal Guardian and returned with the Registration Fee of £50.00 (non-refundable) to the Headmaster, Stroud School, Highwood House, Romsey, Hants SO51 9ZH. Cheques to be made payable to Stroud School Ltd.
