Stroud School Association

prep school cheques

The Stroud School Association were very pleased to present cheques for £2,250 to each of the three school section charities (Dr Barnados, Naomi House and World Vision), which is the culmination of our fund raising activities over the past two years.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all parents for their support for the Association, whether that be helping to organise and set up events, buying tickets for events, raffles and auctions and supporting their children to participate in the activities we put on. We are sure you will all be very proud that these efforts have resulted in us being able to make a significant contribution to some very worthy charities.

In addition, we have also been able to make donations totalling £2,500 to the school itself over the past two years. These have been put towards the new piano in the music room and other school equipment.

As you are aware, the aim of the Association is to provide fun and social events for both parents and children in order to foster a sense of community across the school. We are a registered charity and the profits that we make from these events are used twofold. Firstly to make donations to the school to enhance our children’s learning environment and secondly to also support the charities that the school sections choose.

We are very excited for the current academic year and hope that our events planned for this year continue to be successful and enjoyable for all, so that we can support the new section charities that the children have chosen. Please do continue to support us in any way that you can.

SSA Fun Day

Yet again we were extremely lucky with the weather and we managed to raise £795.00.
This year we had the good ol’ favourites of the ice-cream van, bouncy castle, face painting and the stalls. As well as the new fairground rides and candy floss stall which proved a big hit!
With thanks to some willing and able Dads, we had a scrumptious BBQ.
Thank you to everybody who came along to support this successful event.
