Introduction & Aims
Parents are very much involved in the life of the school and are encouraged to take part in and support as many school activities as possible. There are regular evenings set aside for parents to discuss their children's progress with members of staff and there are plenty of occasions for discussing academic and social development informally when visiting the school.
At the start of each year the staff present to parents an outline of the curriculum for the forthcoming year.
Stroud School Association
There is an active parents' association - The Stroud School Association - formed with the aim of helping parents, staff and children to socialise.
A variety of events are organised each year including a biennial Summer Ball, discos for children and Fun Days. Any funds raised are presented to the school and recent examples of donations include: PA sound system.
